Floppy X Far From A Flop!

Young aspiring rapper Floppy X did what most people thought he could not do and that is throw a dope ass album launch. Of late it seems the BYO faithful have been wishy washy and lack luster in supporting the arts. Any event which has been recently held in the city that kings built has been met with some resistance and poor attendance figures.

This also seemed to be the fate of Floppy X's album launch but the Vernac Rap god's smiled on this kindred spirit. The event was well planned, executed and attended.  The whos who of Byo music industry came out and a few corporate sponsors namely Dream House also lended a helping hand in making the event a resounding success. As with most events a few artists came through and did their thing and even Floppy X also gave a top notch performance.

The self proclaimed Ndebele rap god showed off his lyrical prowess and he kept the crowd entertained. Floppy X has the makings of a true artists and he is definitely one to watch out for if he can keep on pushing and improving.

New Music: Nyomii (Fokus) Prod. By Brian Soko

Im very excited to share new music produced by Brian Soko, he recently launched his new record label "Young Global" and the new single FOKUS is for his flagship artist NyoMii- French Caribean/German Based. The record is attached along with links and artwork.
Let me know if anything I can help now or in the future. Bless.
French Caribbean/German artist Nyomii made her debut with her afro-pop single ‘Fokus’ this week. The track was produced by Brian Soko, who has massive production credits including Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Birdman, Teyana Taylor, Tinashe, & others. The track is a cool pop record but the addition of African pop elements really makes the track standout from the clutter of the pop world. As always, with a strong debut like this, be on the lookout for more material in the future.

In a true display of showmanship enters in the the Bulawayo Center's atrium draped in his signature black flag printed "M.U.S.E.". He introduces himself, the beat drops and, it's fireworks from there!
Instead of the typical trap soul or hard rap instrumental we are used to, pleasantly we are bathed in delightful up tempo arrangement of instrumentation.
"LALA" as the song is titled, is the penultimate summertime song and should prove to be this years summer time anthem.
M.U.S.E. quickly reminded everyone in attendance as to why they where there, within moments he had the crowds chanting "Higher Definition, Higher Definition, Higher Definition!" as he took us through his new release. Needless to say LALA was received with open arms.
We managed to catch up with MUSE after his performance for a brief statement he had this to say.
"I'm truly happy to see that Hip Hop is staying true to its culture in the form of T1NDA. This just goes to show that this medium (hip hop) has no boundaries what so ever and, I'm very happy and honored to have been invited to share this day with him as he releases his latest project."
When asked about the inspiration of his new single LALA, M.U.S.E responded by saying, "I just wanted to make a song that makes people feel good. Even if it's only for that three minutes and thirty seconds, as long as it gets you to stand up and dance a little or brings a smile to your face as you nod to the beat, I would have done my job. That's what #summertimeMUSEik is all about."
From what we have seen, M.U.S.E. is true rising star in the Zim Hip Hop genre. And with each appearance on stage, is cementing his mark on the game.
